Here's a list of some things to include:

Research

  • Publications
  • Experiments, studies, and data collection
  • Grants and fellowships (won and applied for)
  • Trainings or research you've done to improve quality of your funding applications
  • Research-focused professional coaching and mentoring
  • Conferences and workshops attended
  • Writing retreats attended

 Teaching

  • Courses you've taught
  • Courses you've created and updates you've done to existing courses
  • Trainings or research you've done to improve pedagogy
  • Any teaching evaluations you've created to assess student outcomes
  • Teaching-focused professional or peer coaching

Service

  • Number of advisees
  • Advising hours and activities
  • TA/RA supervision
  • Committees (meetings and tasks)
  • Referee work and commenting
  • Onboarding, training, and mentoring
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Logistical planning (e.g., for events)
  • Helping others do their work
